About Me

Hi, I’m Rao

Welcome to Millennial Foodie by Rao, a cozy food blog created for busy moms, home cooks, and anyone who wants simple, comforting recipes that feel doable in real life.

I’m a new mom, a full-time professional, and a lifelong food lover. Like many women balancing work, family, and home life, I know how hard it can be to find the energy to cook something warm and satisfying at the end of a long day. That’s one of the reasons I started this blog.

I wanted to create a space filled with cozy, simple, photo-inspired recipes that don’t feel overwhelming. Here, food is not about perfection. It’s about comfort, warmth, and making everyday meals feel a little more special.

Why I Started This Blog

I started Millennial Foodie by Rao because I wanted to share the kind of recipes I actually look for in my own busy life: easy dinners, cozy breakfasts, simple snacks, family-friendly meals, and seasonal treats that feel comforting without being complicated.

As a new mom, I understand that cooking often happens between work, baby routines, errands, and tired evenings. That’s why my goal is to share recipes that are realistic for real homes — not perfect studio kitchens.

This blog is my way of combining my love for food, cozy photography, and practical home cooking into one warm little corner of the internet.

How I Create My Recipes

Every recipe on this blog is created with real life in mind. I focus on meals that are simple, approachable, and easy to follow, especially for busy days.

When I create a recipe, I think about:

  • Can this be made with everyday ingredients?

  • Is it realistic for a busy mom or home cook?

  • Does it feel comforting and satisfying?

  • Can it be served for family meals, quiet evenings, or simple gatherings?

  • Are the steps clear enough for beginners?

Some recipes are inspired by cozy family meals, seasonal cravings, comfort food ideas, and the kind of dishes I would want to serve at home after a long day.
